Natmark supports Women Entrepreneurs

Seven of the most dynamic entrepreneurs talked about their experiences, their triumphs and their losses before a spell bound audience at the 2nd LADIESFUND Entrepreneurship Conference at Avari Towers, Karachi and held on 16th of September, 2011. The event was hosted by Dawood Global Foundation (DGF) and was sponsored by numerous local and international brands, including Natmark. The audience was diverse and consisted of VIPS, top entrepreneurs budding entrepreneurs, journalists and enthusiastic university students.

LADIESFUND® was established in 2007 as an initiative to provide financial security to women and to promote and train women entrepreneurs. It aims to integrate the entrepreneurial needs based on the economic and social aspects of the local communities, with respect to greater women participation in the workforce.

To educate the budding entrepreneurs and students about what entrepreneurship really is, Natmark raised awareness about its Pathfinder programme. The programme enables grooming, signposting and support to new as well as experienced small business owners. Natmark’s stall was thronged by curious members of the audience and its staff were kept busy right till the end of the event.

Kashif Shahzada, CEO of Natmark thanked Tara Uzra Dawood for organising such an important initiative and for providing creative and economic opportunity to the women of Pakistan.
